Business: Legal & Tax Workshop

To attend this workshop you do not require any prior experience, just an interest and willingness to learn.

This is a 1-day workshop designed to teach students the legal and tax  aspects involved in running a creative business. Topics discussed include: Writing and Comprehension of Legal Contracts, Insurance Requirements (discerning Liability and Workman’s Comp,), Lien Waivers, 1099 & W-2 Reporting Requirements

METHODOLOGY:
To allow students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with theories and practices as they pertain to running a successful business in the creative industry.
