Instructor Bio - Patrick Laheyne
Patrick Laheyne is a Master Artisan from Belgium.
Since 1977, Patrick has been instructing students at EDUGO CAMPUS GLORIEUX; a vocational school for house painting, wall and floor coverings in Ghent, Belgium. In the 1990’s, Patrick became the head instructor for decorative techniques and trompe l’oeil. In addition to teaching at EDUGO CAMPUS GLORIEUX, Patrick has taught master classes in decorative painting and trompe l’oeil to hundreds of students in Europe and USA
Patrick has developed his own signature style and techniques which are meticulously explained and depicted in his recent book “The Power of Illusion“. His experience has enabled him to understand the challenges students face in grasping a certain technique. Patrick enjoys the challenge of guiding his students’ development of their work and seeing them grow in their profession, and feels privileged to have had a part in that growth.
Patrick is also a member of the SALON, a gathering of the top Decorative Artisans in the world, which takes place every year in a different country. http://www.salonforever.se
